The Ministry launches a campaign of garage doors, commercial and industrial inspection.
In 2005 entered into force directive products of production in Spain, which required obligatorily marked with a plate CE of garage doors and industrial, indicating that they comply with all the safety requirements demanded by the regulations European (manufacturer, serial number, date of manufacture or adaptation...).
But it has not been until recently, when the Ministry has adopted much more stringent measures, and it is from this past March, the territorial addresses of industry have decided to set up a monitoring protocol in garage doors, commercial market and industrial. This inspection protocol, reviews the elements gives security required for each type of door, the CE marking and documentation that must accompany them. In the case of non-compliance with any of the requirements of security, is being conducted economic sanctions for the manufacturer or owner, in addition to the inspected door seal.
These inspections will continue this year, and intends to analyze the results obtained in order to take measures that encourage compliance in the sector.
・Algunos of the most important aspects that were discussed in these controls are as follows: CE marking plate: which contains the minimum contents required by the rules of construction products such as the identification of the notified body, the serial number, the reference number of the Declaration of performance...
・documentacion: consists of the Declaration of performance, the Declaration of conformity, manuals of use and maintenance book.
・Inspecciones of safety: that will be one or the other depending on the door inspected, and that shall include aspects like the system anti-crushing, photocell, fall arrest system...
